The set-up and the exhibited pieces underline the specificity of the place where we are: the thermal baths of Saturnia with sulphurous pools, white limestone, a mixture of sand and mud. Milky dust has been collected from the thermal seabed and is dotted with transparent domes which, like portholes or overturned tubs, contain rings, bracelets and earrings made of various and unexpected materials. The tradition of the precious jewel is reinterpreted according to organic shapes of synthetic materials, but not only. Thus, the set-up landscape transforms the thermal atmosphere into a lunar environment, through a synaesthetic mix between nature and artifice where everything is not, and is not made of, what it seems.
