“Ubiquitous Futures” is the title of the international art show of the third edition of MicoCosmo Festival (Cevo, September 2-6, 2026), an initiative dedicated to sharing knowledge about the world of fungi and mycological research. MicoCosmo also aims to be a meeting place for diverse forms of knowledge and practice, bringing together scientists, technicians, growers, activists, artists, educators, and designers. From this perspective, art is neither an accessory nor a tool for communicating science, but a discipline capable of crossing, exploring, and inhabiting different realms of reality.

Clizia Jewelry presents “Symbiotic Ornaments” (2025), a series of rings with translucent textures inspired by mycelial forms and the earthy qualities of the underground. Like jewellery worn on the body, parasitic fungi grow from the trunks of trees: these wearable objects act as metaphors for a symbiotic and ambivalent contamination between human and non-human, dissolving established boundaries between the two.
